Cookies and browser storage
No analytics cookie is set before consent. Accepting analytics lets Google Analytics use first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish visits, configured for up to 180 days without renewing that period on each visit. Advertising cookies are not enabled. The localStorage key dig-haunted-items:consent:v1 remembers your choice on this browser until you clear site data or change it in Cookie settings. Collection and saved calculation data remain separate, local-only storage.
Purpose and duration
Collection storage supports the tracker you choose to use. It is not connected to a Roblox account and does not provide cross-device synchronization. Local entries have no automatic expiry in the application and remain until you remove them or your browser clears them. The upgrade-bottleneck tool stores your last successful seven numeric observations on this device until you select Clear saved run or clear site data.
Your browser controls
Use Cookie settings in the footer and Reject optional to withdraw analytics consent. Collection stops immediately and this site's GA cookies are removed; earlier data already sent to Google is not erased by that action. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track keeps analytics off. You can also clear or block site storage in your browser; blocking storage keeps analytics off and may prevent tool entries from persisting. All guides and tools remain usable.
Advertising and third-party pages
Reserved advertisement spaces do not load an ad network. Optional Google Analytics measures page visits only after consent; advertising storage, Google signals and ad personalization are disabled. Enhanced Measurement is disabled to avoid automatic form, search and outbound-link tracking. Visiting an external link is governed by the destination site's cookie policy.
Where this note comes from
Official pages establish identity and the general loop. Player-input arithmetic and editorial planning rules are not game-tested values. Official artwork is promotional, not a playthrough screenshot.
Common questions
Is localStorage the same as an advertising cookie?
No. It is a separate browser storage mechanism. Here it stores collection entries locally; no advertising integration is enabled by default.
Will blocking storage stop me from reading guides?
No. It may stop the collection tracker from remembering entries between visits.
